A Hermit's Palace....Of Illusions...
The idea of happiness encompasses in human minds, essentially certain materialistic possession which basically stems from the need of identification that in turn leads to building relationships with things. While so many of our habits and attributes stem from our animalistic characteristics and our relationship with the jungle, this idea of identification seems to be pretty evolved with the development of human 'ego'. Animals do not accrue more than what is essential, even babies do not choose to stockpile their toys. The ego needs certain attributes associated with it to develop an identity and one gathers things to differentiate oneself from the other souls. While it is necessary to possess what is needed to survive, have certain identity we end up accumulating to an extent where we lose our identity, forget that we are spirits before humans and entangle ourselves in the illusions of the world.
